About Andrew

Research and Education

I'm a PhD candidate in the Multi-Disciplinary Optimization (MDO) Lab in the University of Michigan Aerospace Engineering department. My fascination with aerospace began as a child when I first learned of the Apollo missions and the Saturn V rocket. I was captivated by the complexity and sheer power of the Saturn V and that spark of curiosity evolved into a passion for engineering and science. My pursuits landed at an intersection between aerodynamics, thermodynamics, and computer science in the form of MDO.
